- Customers are responsible for any required permits or approvals (e.g., from local authorities, building management).
- We accept no liability if work is performed without necessary municipal or regulatory permissions.
- Access & Site Preparation
- You must ensure safe, unobstructed access and a prepared site : Properly sized enough DB(Working condition) capacity for 1 charger, MCB Main atleast 63 Amps for houses , Fuse Not Old, Wires Not Worn Out at TNB Meter & Permission from management. All this will ensure your safety. If these are missing, our work could be delayed and thus :
- If the technician cannot perform a basic installation due to site constraints or missing approvals or being delayed by clients own issues, an additional fee of RM180 will apply if the technician has already arrived on-site.
2. Electrical Requirements & Recommendations
- Dedicated Circuit
- We recommend a dedicated circuit for the charger to prevent overloads or nuisance tripping.
- Protective Devices
- A Type A RCCB (30mA) and a C-Curve MCB (10kA) sized to the charger’s rating are recommended for safe operation.
- Surge Protection is strongly advised to protect against lightning and voltage spikes.
- Cable Specifications
- Use 6 mm² (or larger) Mega Brand cables or equivalent to prevent overheating.
- Substandard or undersized cables can melt or catch fire, potentially voiding the charger warranty.
- Stable Voltage Supply
- Frequent voltage fluctuations should be addressed with your utility provider or by installing a voltage stabilizer. Damage from unstable supply is not covered by warranty.
- Load Management
- Single-Phase: Limit concurrent heavy loads (e.g., AC units above 1HP) while charging to avoid fuse blowouts.
- Three-Phase: Ensure your main breaker is at least 63A or higher to accommodate the charger’s load and other appliances.
3. Warranty Coverage & Void Conditions
- Standard Warranty
- Covers manufacturer defects and installation workmanship by our authorized team, valid for the period stated in your contract or invoice.
- Normal wear and tear, misuse, or external damage (e.g., severe weather, lightning) are not covered.
- Warranty Void Scenarios
- Unauthorized Components: If you use your own MCB, RCCB, cables, or other components and they cause damage to the charger, the warranty is void.
- No Surge Protection: Damage due to lightning or power surges without proper surge protection is not covered.
- Unstable Voltage: Extreme fluctuations or over-voltage conditions void warranty coverage.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Tampering, self-repair, or altering the charger setup without our written approval.
- Bad Current House Wiring Condition : If shortcuts in your current house wiring was done and if it affects our charger, then warranty is void.
- Customer-Supplied Equipment

- Extra fees may apply for diagnostic visits if issues stem from non-approved equipment.
- Existing Electrical System Faults
- We are not responsible for pre-existing issues in your home’s wiring. If such issues cause the charger to fail or trip frequently, the warranty does not apply.
- Post-Installation Performance
- We will perform a functional test at installation. If a fuse blows or breaker trips days or weeks later due to additional loads or changes by the user, it may not be covered under warranty.
- We recommend to always keep fire powder or fire blanket for long term safety nearby your ev car.
