At first, I was a little hesitant since I wanted to discuss the routing details directly with the technician on-site. Understanding my concern, they arranged for the technician to visit my house on Saturday to go through my proposed routing before the actual installation. I really appreciated their flexibility and willingness to accommodate my request. The installation went smoothly, exactly as discussed, and the workmanship was neat and professional. Overall, I’m very satisfied with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable EV charger installer.

They are very responsive to all questions (even before engaging them) and are able to quote the estimated installation price with just photos and videos taken from our home. Most other installers mentioned they will charge rm150-200 for inspection fee just to see the place, and is only waived if we engaged them. 2. ⁠They will try their best to find the most appropriate route from our DB box to the wallbox, consult us first, and manage to help us hide the wiring nicely inside our plaster ceiling, hence no trunking visible inside our house. After completing they helped cover up the plaster ceiling (though painting subsequently to be done ourselves) 3. ⁠Professional throughout the installation, the sub DB box was installed nicely beside main DB box. As no hacking required, everything was done in about 2 hours. Overall a good experience for first time EV owners.

She answered all my queries promptly and addressed every concern professionally. She also explained clearly that for an 11kW charger, a 6mm cable would have been sufficient and safe. However, for my own peace of mind and added safeguard, I decided to proceed with a 10mm cable upgrade instead. The installation was carried out by Harish, Keeran, and their team members, who did an excellent and professional job overall. They worked carefully, ensured everything was properly installed, and cleaned up after completion. While the patch-up work could have been slightly better, it was still acceptable overall. The only shortcoming was the installation timing. The team arrived around 10am and only completed the work around 4pm, whereas I initially expected it to take about 3–4 hours. However, based on my understanding from the installation team, the delay was mainly due to the use of the thicker 10mm cable, which is significantly more difficult to handle and route compared to 6mm cable. Overall, I am very satisfied with the workmanship, professionalism, and support provided by Energi Elite, and would confidently recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable home EV charging solution.

Unfortunately, due to their service coverage, they had to decline, even after I offered to pay additional outstation fees. But what impressed me was not about the installation itself—it was their service mindset. Even though I wasn’t going to be their customer, they still took the time to help me review the quotation from a local contractor. They also shared a detailed list of things I should make sure the contractor includes, such as proper wiring, MCB, isolator, and other important items. Honestly, this kind of genuine help is quite rare nowadays. They could have easily just said no and moved on, but instead they went out of their way to make sure I wouldn’t get shortchanged and that the installation would be done safely. Really appreciate their professionalism and sincerity. In future, if I ever need to install a wallbox at my own house in KL, I’ll definitely go with Energi Elite.
