How long does it take to charge an electric vehicle?
Charging times vary based on the charger type and the electric vehicle’s battery capacity. Our E1 charger has a 7KW and 32A power output. The average charging time with our charger will be around 7 hours for most EVs

Yes! We guarantee that the E1 charger is safe to use in any weather conditions
Most of the time, yes. However, not every vehicle reaps its advantages. The capacity of AC charging is constrained by the onboard charger (OBC) in EVs. To illustrate, the majority of fully electric vehicles (EVs) face limitations with an 11 kW OBC, while most Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) are confined to a mere 3.7 kW OBC. So it will still depend on the model of your vehicle.
Yes! However, you will need a Type 1 to Type 2 charging cable to attach onto the E1 charger to make it compatible.
The E1 charger follows the IEC 62196-2 standard for its interface so we are compatible with almost ALL car brands out there. If you have a concern regarding your car’s compatibility, please contact us directly and we will guide you through it!
Yes! Once the charger has started charging, the charging must be stopped before the charger can be removed from the vehicle.
In order to prevent unwanted use of your E1 charger, we recommend securing your charging point effectively. We would recommend having your charger installed in a private portion of your home so you have exclusive access to your charger.
Yes! Chargers and EVs are designed to stop charging once they have reached max battery capacity so you don’t have to worry about overcharging or damaging your vehicle’s battery when charging.
